During the National Day holiday,I visited Wuzhen, a thousand-year-old water town in Zhejiang Province.
The ancient town looked like a painting—with stone arch bridges over clear waterways and white-walled, black-tiled houses along the river. I walked along the cobblestone alleys, with the aroma of rice wine and roasted chestnuts floating in the air. An elderly woman sat by the river weaving a bamboo basket with her deft hands. When I stopped to watch, she smiled and offered to teach me.I spent an hour learning the craft, laughing at my clumsy attempts.
This trip made me fall in love with traditional ancient towns in China. They are more than just tourist attractions—they are living museums of history and culture.I hope to visit more such places in the future.
